'Japanese Onion Soup'. It's a broth based soup that is topped with french fried onions and shaved mushrooms, it is heavenly! I love that it tastes just like the soup served at our Japanese Steakhouse but only costs a fraction of the price.

First off, the ingredients say, 'chopped' it means just cut it in half or fourths. Make it easy on yourself and leave the vegetables in large chunks!
in a large saucepan or stockpot, combine the celery, onion, carrot, ginger, garlic, and a few of the mushrooms. Add chicken bouillon, beef bouillon, and water.
Place the pot over high heat, and bring to a rolling boil. When the mixture reaches boiling, cover, reduce heat to medium, and cook for 45 minutes.
It can cook for longer than 45 minutes (sometimes I leave it on for a couple hours), you will just need to add more water if too much water evaporates.
After it's cooked for at least 45 minutes strain the cooked soup and discard all of the vegetables, leaving the broth.
Serve the broth with sliced mushrooms and sprinkle french fried onions over the top.

Half Jooubachi Lyrics

Japanese name: 女王蜂 / じょおうばち / Jooubachi

Stylized name: Ziyoou-vachi

Official English name: Queen Bee
A self-described “fashion punk band”, Queen Bee formed in Kobe, Japan in 2009. The band started as a trio initially, consisting of Avu-chan, Yashi-chan and Ruri-chan. Some time afterwards, a lead guitarist Gigi-chan joined the group. Their activity was mostly centered around a local livehouse, known as Kobe Mersey Beat. For this reason, releases of the first independent CD-R albums The Mad Princess (Hime-sama Goranshin) and The Wrath of the Royal Family (Oozoku Daigekirin) were both announced at that exact venue. On March 31st 2010, they performed in their first independent concert, commemorating one year anniversary since the band’s formation. In July 2010, Queen Bee were chosen to perform at Fuji Rock Festival’s extremely selective Rookie A Go-Go – a separate stage only accessible to select bands not associated with major record labels. This performance led to greater visibility for the group and, after that, they garnered even more attention by appearing at a private party held by a fashion brand Hysteric Glamour.
On February 2011, following a distribution of the Curse of the French Doll (France Ningyo no Noroi) single on iTunes Store, they announced that a new album, Witch Hunt (Majo Gari), would be released nationwide through their own label, Ziyoou Records. Same month, on 25th, a first one-man live titled “Witch Mass (Majo Misa)” took place at Club Asia in Shibuya. On April 14th, Queen Bee organized a free-entrance charity concert titled “Witch Salvation (Majo Kyuusai)” where everyone could donate to help with reconstruction of area affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake (a mannequin holding a donation box was placed at the entrance). “A lot of people are in a difficult situation right now, but I think that the money everyone donated and our passionate feelings will surely reach them,” said Avu-chan during the event.

In June the band announced their major label debut through Sony Music Associated Records and that they would also appear and perform in the film Love Strikes!. The reason behind joining a major label was that they’d “get to wear way more awesome clothes” and “push to even further levels of excess”. On September 7th 2011 a second album, titled “Peacock (Kujaku)”, was released.

In addition to songs, the band played a big role in the making of music videos – they did everything by themselves, up to storyboarding (excluding some professional duties). They were also in charge of makeup, styling and accessories during photo shoots.

On May 23rd 2012, a second album released through Sony Music came out – “Snake Princess (Hebihime-sama)”. However, on 30th of the same month it was announced that lead guitarist Gigi-chan would leave the group, to seek treatment for intense pain of unknown origin in her dominant hand. After this, Queen Bee continued their activities by adding “an unspecified large number of performers” to the band.

On December 30th 2012 Queen Bee announced a sudden hiatus; on February 22nd 2013, a solo concert “Hakuheisen” at SHIBUYA-AX became their last. A recording of the event was later released on DVD. Regarding the hiatus, the members commented, “whether it will be several days or years later, we haven’t thought about our plans for rebirth. However, we promise to undergo a complete transformation. We will completely get rid of our anxiety, disappointment and anger, so please tremble and wait for us by all means”.

After a year, on February 22nd 2014 a solo concert “Hakunetsusen” at the same SHIBUYA-AX marked the resumption of activity.

In January 2015, lead guitarist Hibari-kun, who had been acting as a support member before, officially joined the band. On March 25th, 2 years and 10 months since their previous album, a 4th album, titled Kirei, was released.

On April 5th 2017, came out a 5th album – Q. The album has a strong social commentary and dealt with subjects such as domestic abuse and the things people have to do to survive.

In 2018, Avu-chan provided vocals for the modern remix of “Devilman no Uta” for the anime Devilman Crybaby, which noticeably raised the band’s popularity in non-Japanese spaces. Later, in spring, a new song titled “HALF” became the ending theme of Tokyo Ghoul:re. In October a new single Hypnotize (Saiminjutsu) came out. In contrast with the funky pop & hip-hop tune, the lyrics of the title song portrayed a protagonist who couldn’t resist their addiction.

In 2019, the song “FIRE (Kaen)” became the opening theme of the anime Dororo. To commemorate the band’s 10-year anniversary, a new tour has been announced.

In late March, QB’s first official book - “qb Picture Book” - was released. It consisted of photos, details about each band member, interviews, costume sketches and so on. The same month, a fourth DVD and the first Blu-ray were produced, with the recording of the band’s first hall live (at Nakano Sun Plaza). The discs were titled “FLAT -Hall Live 2018-”.

In April the band started their biggest tour yet, consisting of 16 performances total, titled “Juu -Kaen-”. A song from the upcoming album Ten (Juu) - “Holy War (Seisen)” - had been chosen as a theme song for the movie Sadako and QB also covered “feels like HEAVEN”, which is a popular song of the franchise. It was later released as a single.
New album Ten (Juu) released in May, along with a video for “Holy War (Seisen)”. Later, November marked the start of yet another tour, with most performances taking place in big concert halls such as Tokyo Electron Hall and Nakano Sun Plaza.
2020 started with an announcement of the band’s new full album, BL. And even though merely a year had passed after Ten (Juu), each song was brand new. A popular boys love mangaka Harada created the regular edition cover for the album.
In February Avu-chan appeared on the YouTube channel The First Take and performed an acoustic version of “FIRE (Kaen)”. The video got more than 2 million views in the first week.
